Здравствуйте! Я потомок Klein Georg Adam, 1814 и Maria Katharina, 1815. У них был сын Георг Генрих Клейн, 1846 г. рождения, проживавший в Merkel (Макаровка). Его старший сын Александр Клейн 1876 г. рождения мой прадед. Моя бабушка Клейн Ирма Александровна 1919 г.р.

Discussion & Documentation:
David Klein, a farmer, his wife Sabina, and children (Katharina, age 19; Daniel, age 17; Appolonia, age 13; Barbara, age 9; Philipp, age 6; Margaretha, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat under the command of Lieutenant Trusov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kautz on 20 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3.
Before 1798, Daniel Klein's widow and children moved from Kautz to Merkel. ( Mr25).
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that David Klein came from the German region of Pfalz. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Freimersheim.
