Johann Heinrich Leiker, son of Johann Georg Leiker & Anna Elisabeth Velte, was born 16 February 1720 in Wehrheim. He married 4 April 1741 in Wehrheim to Anna Margaretha Dietz. They had 3 children born in Wehrheim: (1) Konrad Heinrich, born 25 July 1747; (2) Jakob; and (3) Barbara. Anna Margaretha died, and Johann Heinrich remarried to Elisabeth. They had two daughters before leaving: (1) Maria; and (2) Margaretha.

Henrich Leicker, with his wife Elisabeth and four children, left Wehrheim in June 1766.

Heinrich Leiker, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Konrad, age 18; Jakob, age 17; Barbara, age 16; Maria, age 4; Margaretha, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 on a ship under the command of Hans Karholm.

Heinrich Leicker, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Conrad, age 18; Jacob, age 17; Barbara, age 16; Jost, age 11; Maria, age 4; Margaretha, age 3; Johann, born en route) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both parents, daughters Maria & Margaretha, and newborn Johann died enroute.

Konrad Leiker is recorded on the 1798 Census of Ober-Monjou in Household No. Om48. Jakob Leiker is recorded there in Household No. Om58. Daughter Barbara married in 1792 to Jakob Mertz of Schönchen and is recorded there in 1798 in Household No. Sn03.

The Oranienbaum passenger list does not record form where Heinrich Leiker came.
