Уважаемые эксперты,
прошу помочь в поиске корней:
родителями моего предка Иоганна Адама Вильгельм из колонии Граф (*1817/1818) были Петер (*1797) и Сузанна (*1798) Вильгельм. Не смогли бы Вы в переписи 1834 (или 1857) выяснить девичью фамилию Сузанны.

Заранее благодарна.

В переписи 1834 года она записана без девичьей фамилии. В 1850 её в семье уже не было.

viktor2 посмотрите пожалуйста есть ли дочь Helena в семьях Wilhelm в переписи 1834 года.

Ищу родителей Barbara Wilhelm(i) 1826 из колонии Graf. Известно, что она замужем за Johann Georg Geier 1824.

Andreas Windholz 1797 г.р., его жена Anna Maria Windholz 1799 г.р., ум. до 1858. Интересмует её девичья фамилия и из какой она колонии? Брак в 1790 г. Этот Андреас был дважды женат. Его вторая жена Marianna Riedel 1811г.р.

1. In the 1834 Graf census, Peter Wilhelm and wife Susanna have a daughter, Barbara, born in 1826. Susanna's maiden name is not listed.


2. In the 1857 Graf census, household # 65, wife of Johannes Geier is listed as Catharina Rohleder, 70 years old, so born 1787. She is listed as Anna Catharina in the 1850 census. Since her surname is Rohleder she is probably from Rohleder (Raskaty). The 1798 Rohleder census, household #3, lists a Konrad Rohleder married to second wife Katarina Schreiner. Children from deceased first wife includes an Anna Katarina, 11 years old, so born 1787.


3. Andreas Windholz and wife Anna Maria are in the Herzog (Susly) in the 1834 and 1850 census. Anna Maria appears to have died sometime between the 1850 and 1857 census. Two of their sons, Johannes married to Magdalena Pfeifer, in the 1857 census and Lorenz, not yet married in the 1857 census (Household #55) came to the US. A descendant of Johannes Windholz obtained information from the Russian church records for his birth and marriage. His mother was Anna Maria Schmidtberger and she was probably the daughter of Andreas Schmidtberger, 20 years old and not yet married in the 1798 Herzog census, household #23.

The claim that Andreas Windholz had a wife named Marciana or Martianna (not Marianna) Riedel is mentioned in a Windholz genealogy book published Frank Windholz in 1983 in the US. But there is no supporting documentation for that claim so it is not certain this Marcianna Riedel ever existed.

I would be very grateful.

I have several genealogy books that were published in the US. The books published before say 2000 often will have serious errors in them when compared to the Russian census and church records. Americans did not have access to the Russian records until about 1995.

Link below is to a better Windholz history book published in 2000. It lists the wife of Andreas Windholz as Anna Maria and does not mentioned Marcianna Riedel as a wife. Book is in English and you can download a pdf of the whole book or read it online.

Martin Wilhelmi 1754, жил до 1797 года в Луисе, по переиси 1798 г. жил уже в Графе, дочь от первого брака Маргарита 1794 г.р., вторая жена Anna Barbara Schäfer 1757г.р. Кто его родители? Когда и откуда прибыли в Россию?

В переписи 1834 года она записана без девичьей фамилии. В 1850 её в семье уже не было.

15 Jul 1828 Baptism record for Johannes Peter Wilhelm, born the day before to Peter Wilhelm and Susanna Nabum. I think this is the Peter Wilhelm listed as born 1828 in the 1834 Graf census.

Nabum is perhaps Naab in Brent Mai's 1798 census in Kamenka. Household #19.
