Mathiesen / Stahl am Tarlyk

Hello,
I am searching for any information on the Mathiesen family, or (I would assume) any surname that phonetically sounds the same.
My maternal great grandfather, Johann Peter Mathiesen, was born 6 Aug 1884 in Stahl. On 11 Feb 1910 in Stahl he married Maria Katharina Wicht (possibly Wick) b. 19 Jul 1888 (probably in Stahl). They had a daughter, Amallie, on 3 Jul 1912 in Stahl. They immigrated to America in 1912 shortly after Amallie was born. The rest of their 10 children were born in America.
My great grandfather's older brother Johann Gottlieb Mathiesen, b. 22 Jun 1866 in Stahl, married Katharina Louisa Mohr b. 8 Jul 1871 (possibly in Stahl) on 25 May 1891. They had three children in Stahl before they immigrated to America in 1899. The rest of their 10 children were born in America.
*Johann Gottlieb Mathiesen Jr, b. 12 Jul 1894
*Amallie Mathiesen b. 12 Sep 1896
*Heinrich Mathiesen b. 8 Nov 1898 (possibly Johann Heinrich)
This is where my confirmed information ends.
There is no way that there were only 2 children in the Mathiesen family and there is nearly a decade between the birth of Gottlieb Sr and my G-grandfather.....there has to be several children within that decade .
I would assume there are, at least, 5-8 more siblings....possibly girls as they wouldn't have retained the same surname.
I am linked via DNA to the Korber/Kerber family, it's possible one of my g-grandfathers sisters was Katherina Margaretha Mathiesen b. 16 Feb 1871 who married Johann Heinrich Korber/Kerber b. 10 Jun 1869 in Stahl or Schilling.
Any information on this family in Stahl would be appreciated very much.
Thanks!
C. Breunig
